Professional fitting is essential if you are to gain the full value from your new carpet or other floor covering.
Cotswold Flooring provides a completely free measuring and written estimation service that details as precisely as possible the real cost of fitting the floor covering of your choice. Wherever possible, this should include a site visit to enable an accurate assessment of how long your job will take.
Our estimates always include:
- advice on the most appropriate underlay, including pads on stair treads and risers
- any additional work involved, such as disposal of old carpets and underlay waste, removal and re-hanging of doors, and the fitting of any required accessories
- the cost of all accessories, such as underlays, felt, door plates, stair rods and nosings.
Our professional service also includes advice on the most efficient carpet widths to buy, ensuring the minimum of waste aiming towards giving you best value.
Once our fully trained and qualified fitters have completed your installation, you are welcome to inspect it thoroughly with them. Ensure that there are no loose edges to the carpet and that it is sufficiently stretched. In complex cases, look particularly carefully to ensure that design repeats match and that complex border work is satisfactory.
